2016 reflection

This year was a really fun year. We enjoyed it a lot we learnt a lot of stuff this year

Reading Buddy with Room 4 and 3

Today in the afternoon room 3 & 4 came to LS2. I read with my partner Wairua she from room 3. We read I spy. My partner and I were looking all over the book for the specific items at the book tell us to find. It was very hard because some pages of the book was cover in items that we didn't need.   

Orienteering

Today Leon came to our class for our last session of orienteering. When he finished talking to us we had to go down to the junior playground where we meet Elaina (Irene's daughter) for the first time. They gave us a paces of paper with number on it that go with the letters on the controls also we got our maps to try to find our destination. We waited for Elaina to tell us to go. When she said go we ran to our first destination. My first destination was A with was in the front car park after that I had to go to B then more. When I finish the first one I was glad until I got the second map because I though I was done because I was tried but I push on and made it to the end my finishing time was 21:50.

Basket Ball

Today we play a game of basket ball it was fun there were a lots of fun but it was the last game we would play for while because coach mark and coach Millie are off to coach another school. We also play a game of golden child it was so fun. One team had to try to shot the ball into the basket ball hoop and the another team had to get around the hole court before they shot the basket ball in the hoop, and if you got out by the team that shooting you have to wait for the golden child to get you back to the end and the golden child is the last one to run.

Basket Ball

Today in basket ball (Coach Mark and Coach Millie) teach  us how dribble the ball, stance, pivot and cup the ball (which is rist/hand and moving it under our leg). At first we did some warm up, at first we did some running then high knees. After all our running we did some relay girls VS girls and boys VS boys.We were lucky to win two our relay and coach mark couldn't say our team  name which was the undead!!    

Ukulele

Today we did Ukulele Mrs Eeles couldn't been able to teach us to do ukulele so my teacher had a try two teach us with some help with was Fine, Tim and Yvette. Our teacher had learn to do ukulele as well. Everyone had fun we learned to play a song on a ukulele half way I got pull out to take photo of everyone. Fine, Tim and Yvette did a great job teaching room 5.
